‘Avengers: Age of Ultron': Footage, Trailer To Debut On December
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" doesn't come to U.S. theatres until May 1, 2015. Ahead of its much-anticipated release, few set of photos have managed to make the rounds online. The last fans saw in terms of video footage was probably the teaser released during the San Diego Comic-Con for Marvel's Hall H presentation. However, recent reports confirm some behind-the-scenes and an "exclusive look" at the sequel will be previewed on Dec. 9, 2014.
Movieweb claims the exclusive look at "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be available with the release of "Guardians of the Galaxy" for the DVD, 3D and Blu-ray. Marvel and Disney reportedly announced the debut of the Phase Two Marvel film last month. However, during that time no further details were revealed in terms of bonus features. Recently, the site listed down five of the special features and one pertains to the sequel. This includes never-before-seen deleted scenes, making-of featurettes, gag reel, audio commentary and lasly, the exclusive Look at Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron.
JoBlo adds a sneak peak and some deleted scenes from the sequel are believed to be included in the DVD release of "Guardians of the Galaxy." It may also feature cast interviews. But most importantly, the question is whether it will also include the Comic-Con teaser where participants got their glimpse at the villain Ultron.
As previously mentioned by the International Business Times, the video footage reveals Ultron still in his skeletal form. While the Avengers converge for a victory party at the new Avengers Tower (formerly Starks Tower), each male member of the team tries their hand at lifting Thor's hammer, the Mjolnir, in exchange for ruling Asgard. Cap manages to budge it a little while the rest (Hawkeye, Bruce Banner and Tony Stark)failed, to which Thor tells them they're "all not worthy" to rule Asgard.
Just then, to the team's surprise, Ultron emerges with his legion of robots and tells them the only path to peace is through mankind's extinction. Then what reportedly follows is a montage of scenes from "Avengers: Age of Ultron." People are seen running away from a battle and there's a glimpse of Hulk and Iron Man fighting. The video footage ended with Tony Stark staring down at the lifeless bodies of the Avengers at what appears to be Thanos' tomb.
