'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Update: Danny Elfman Reveals About His Music Contribution To Joss Whedon's Film
Danny Elfman has reportedly composed music for “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The American composer recently revealed about his involvement with the movie in his interview with 891 ABC Adelaide.
“I was doing the same thing actually just last week because I’ve contributed music to the new Avengers movie. I took part of Alan Silvestri’s theme on the original [movie], which I really liked and I pulled it into it new theme, which became kind of a hybrid,” he said in his to 891 ABC Adelaide.
The 61-year-old legendary music composer has also been credited in the recent team poster of the film. He has reportedly given additional music in the film; though it is not known for which part of the film he has composed the music. According to IGN, many fans had previously speculated that Elfman’s might use his famous “Spider-Man’s” score in Joss Whedon’s film. Reportedly, the credit of additional music is sometimes used when music from another film has been incorporated in the film. However, if Danny’s statement to the 891 ABC is anything to go by then that does not seem like a case.
Alan’s theme was used in the “The Avengers” climax and Danny has hinted that he might have used a hybrid of the Alan’s music in the “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Moreover, Danny is known for providing music to Tim Burton’s “Batman” movies, “Spider-Man” films, “Hulk” and much recently “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
