The official movie poster for "The Avengers" was released just yesterday. The world's greatest superheroes once again hit the big screen, not to mention each individual's screen, with their latest trailer release that shows more destruction and chaos that just about everybody loves about action packed films.

Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury to prove he's still got his mojo. His main role is that of the acting director of S.H.I.E.L.D. who is the brains behind recruiting Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and a few other more. What better way to start out a trailer than with Samuel L. Jackson's voice over of course?

"War has started," says Nick Fury, "and we are hopelessly outgunned."

Though outgunned is more of an understatement in the case of the Marvel heroes, the trailer shows more punches flying and hammer thundering than the usual guns and ammo.

Black Widow played by the sultry and stunning, Scarlett Johansson, isn't one to fail with her high-heel kicks and powerful punches plus add her gun wielding ability to that.

Another observation worth mentioning of the trailer would be that superheroes don't always play nice. As Iron Man's sarcastic and quick witted actor, Robert Downey Jr. plays the comic relief, he too throws in one hell of a technological battle.

"I thought I didn't qualify," says Stark, played by Downey. "Apparently I'm-what was it?-volatile, self obsessed, and [I] don't play well with others."

"Play well with others" would be a bit of an understatement seeing as parts of the trailer shows Captain America, Thor and Iron Man at each others' throats literally "playing" to finish each other off.

Training superheroes may be more of a difficulty for Fury than it is to save the earth but at the end of the trailer all of them manage to focus on "avenging" the human race.

The Joss Whedon directed action-packed flick will be hitting the big screen by May 4. So calling all Marvel fans out there now would be a great time to be in the know of these superheroes while the big wait. "Iron Man", "The Hulk", "Thor" and "Captain America" are just a few Marvel flicks that would get the blood pumping and ready for action until this summer blockbuster.

In the meantime, feast your eyes on the newest trailer for "The Avengers" or "Avengers Assemble".
