Avril Lavigne turned 30-years-old on September 27 and the singer celebrated the last day of her 20s with her friends and relatives in Las Vegas. Chad Kroeger, husband of the "Girlfriend" singer, was not present by her side as she hit the new milestone of her life. Kroeger's absence has led to speculations in the media that the couple might be on the verge of break-up.

The "When You Are Gone" singer had a gala time at The Bank Nightclub in the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, reveals US Magazine. She was joined by her friends and sister-in-law Amie Lavigne in her birthday celebrations and the singer looked quite happy in the pictures that can be seen here.

Lavigne is seen wearing a bright pink off shoulder dress for the occasion. She let her light blonde hair fall down in waves and kept her make-up minimal just with her signature black eyeliner visible. The singer smiled as she posed in front of a huge pink and blue coloured cake in the shape of a cupcake.

The petite songstress was also spotted without her engagement ring. She was seen wearing a pearl solitaire in her ring finger instead. Avril also chose to leave her 17 carat emerald-cut diamond ring at home that was presented to her by Chad on their first marriage anniversary in July. The US Magazine revealed earlier in September that both Lavigne and Kroeger are on the verge of break-up as their relationship is facing lot of troubles. "It's over. He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing," a source close to the couple told the website.

Though no particular reason for their alleged split was cited, but a source close to the couple told Daily Mail that Kroeger does not treat Avril in a good way and "is just a complete jerk in the way he talks to her." Avril got married to Kroeger in July 2013 in South of France after dating the singer for one year. Chad and Avril have not released any official statement about their break-up yet.
