Still fresh in everyone's memories is last week's bar scuffle that involved Avril Lavigne and boyfriend Brody Jenner at Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel. Her wounds? Not so fresh.

Recently, a photo outlining the 'What The Hell' songstress' badly-damaged face has surfaced. It clearly shows her skin tarnished with scratches, cuts and red marks.

Only a random attack to her and Jenner caused all of these. Naturally, Lavigne vented out all her feelings regarding the incident to Twitter.

"I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f---ed," she rants. "As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer."

Lavigne goes on thanking all her fans and friends who supported her in this short ordeal. "Wanted to thank all of my fans, friends and family for their support over the last couple of days. Saw all ur comments and emails xo thank u," she says.

One of those was her band mate and best friend, Evan Taubenfield, whom she tweeted personally. "Thank you @EvanT for coming over to visit me today and bringing me a hello kitty ice pack. I'm so lucky to have a friend like you."

It's a good thing that Lavigne's quickly in high spirits, because for sure her beau's going to need it. Jenner has pressed charges against the attackers plus a police report for assault with a deadly weapon - referring to the broken bottle that hit the 'Bromance' star's face.

Even though some of the core details of the fight weren't told to the public, sources tell US Magazine that the confrontation happened at Beacher's Madhouse inside the Roosevelt Hotel.

The source narrates, "At first, the girl called Brody something and that set Avril off so she talked sh-- back to them."

"Brody came over aggressively and got involved. They were scuffling on the floor... Brody was the aggressor and had five guys with him. When they finally got up Brody was bleeding," adds another.

This statement refutes initial reports that the duo's relationship in on the rocks.
