'Baby' Cyclones On Top of the World
Australia's Junion Track Team Leaps in Championships
The Australian team has finished on top of the medal tally at the 2011 UCI Junior Track World Championships.
The team collected nine medals, including six gold, two silver and a bronze to finish clear of the Russian Federation and Germany.
New South Wales' Jackson Law and South Australia's Alexander Edmondson secured the team's sixth gold medal on the final night of competition in the 30km madison.
In other events, New South Wales' Timothy McMillan finished ninth in the keirin and Victoria's Adele Sylvester, who claimed silver in the team sprint with Taylah Jennings on the opening night, finished sixth in the 500m time trial.
Queensland's Emily Roper and Tasmania's Georgia Baker, who collected gold in the team pursuit with Jennings, both finished in the top ten in the individual pursuit.
