In an interview with The TV Page, The Bachelor Season 18 (2014) star Juan Pablo Galavis said that gay bachelor participant will not be a good example for kids to view on the show. He also referred to gay people as "more pervert."

The next morning, Juan Pablo apologized for his controversial, anti-gay comments on Facebook. He also let out an explanation saying that his comments were "taken out context" and blamed it on language barrier. According to more reports, Juan Pablo plans to meet GLAAD reps, soon.

Juan Pablo Galavis seemed to have annoyed a lot of people including fans with his controversial, anti-gay comments in reference to the show. The list of annoyed people also includes the participant of the ongoing season Kelly Travis.

Kelly Travis is a 27 year-old female from Conyers, Georgia and she loves dog. According to the latest reports, Kelly disclosed that one of her parent is a homosexual in the wake of Juan Pablo's anti-gay comments controversy, through her Twitter comment.

She took to Twitter to react to his comments and voice her opinion. Kelly Travis on her Twitter account said: "My only thoughts are, I have a gay parent and I turned out lovely"
