'The Bachelor Australia' 2016 latest news: Alex Nation posts first family photo with her son and Richie Strahan

“The Bachelor Australia” 2016 star Richie Strahan and his chosen one Alex Nation are making fans fall in love with them again, now that her five-year-old son is in the picture… literally.

Alex has recently taken to Instagram to share their first family picture, as part of their NW Magazine feature. Fans of the hit reality show would remember that Richie wasn’t able to meet Alex’s little man throughout the duration of “The Bachelor Australia” 2016. Last week, two months since he chose Alex among a bevy of ladies, Richie finally came face to face with Elijah during one of his trips to Melbourne. “I met Elijah a little while ago,” Strahan told Herald Sun. “It was great.’’

Followers of the reality show pair believe that this is one way of showing that they’re taking things to a whole new level. Since “The Bachelor Australia” 2016 wrapped up in September, the couple had met various controversies. Quite a few fans disagreed with Strahan’s choice, rooting for their favourite Nikki Gogan. They also had to battle breakup rumours that had been thrown in their way since their stint in the reality show.

In September, the couple blasted Woman’s Day magazine after it featured the headline, “Shock split… and the heartbreaking reason why.” Richie and Alex admitted that they felt it was a “massive stab in the back,” after they gave the magazine exclusive photos and interviews.

Despite all the negativity, however, they seem to take everything in stride, flooding their social media accounts with loved-up photos. Richie even took to Instagram to get back at their bashers. “I found her, my love, my co-pilot, my partner in crime, my everything,” he wrote. “I followed my heart and I've never been this happy. Alex to me you're perfect, you're everything I could of ever wished for. You make me the happiest guy in the world, I love you.”
