'The Bachelor Australia' 2016 latest news: Budding romance between Nikki Gogan and Cam Cranley sends fans into a frenzy

It seems that “The Bachelor” magic – bringing people together in television and making them fall in love – works just as well off-cam.

As fans of the hit reality series eagerly watched the much-anticipated “The Bachelorette” finale this week, former contestants also gathered to have a viewing party. This includes “The Bachelorette” fan favourite Cam Cranley and “The Bachelor” runner-up Nikki Gogan, who have met for the first time as they watched the final episode together.

“Was amazing to meet the rest of the WA Bachie fam last night to watch the final episode together,” Cam wrote. “Congratulations to @leeroyelliott and @georgiealove you both deserve the happiness that follows! Matty J so much respect for how you held yourself. It takes guts to live your life with your heart on your sleeve like that but it will only bring you great things in the future. (And yes i met @nikki_gogan)."

It wasn’t exactly a one-on-one date since there are other “The Bachelor” alum around. However, fans can’t help but notice Cam’s special mention of Nikki. “Looking forward to seeing a selfie from your first date with @nikki_gogan,” one of the 26-year-old fireman’s followers commented. Another wrote, “THE DREAM COUPLE!! They know eachother now!!” One fan also had this to say: “omg if cam and Nikki gets together my life is so complete”

“The Bachelor” ex-contestant Tiffany Scanlon also joined Cam, Nikki and the others. Earlier, Tiffany also became a hot topic when she and fellow bachelorette Megan shamelessly flaunted their public displays of affection on Instagram.

A day before her 30^th birthday, Tiffany shared Megan took her to a flight over the Abrolhos Islands to celebrate. “It was truly mind blowingly spectacular and with my favourite person in the world,” she wrote. “I know we will have many more adventures for many years to come and when she turns 30 [I] will have to try to top this! Thankyou my darling,” she posted.

Megan, for her part, replied, “You beautiful woman, I looooved having such an adventurous and relaxed day with you,” she replied. “We'll wake up together tomorrow for lots of kisses and cuddles before the inevitable... I LOVE YOU.”
