'The Bachelor Australia' 2016: Osher Gunsberg gives a tour of the $3.8 million NSW mansion where all the drama happens
“The Bachelor” Australia airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on Channel TEN
This $3.8 million sprawling mansion may look like paradise, but it actually is more of a setting for catfights and women in cold circumstances as they battle out to marry a handsome and desirable Bachelor.
A post in Daily Mail reveals that the previous season of “The Bachelor” had irked neighbours because of the noise, lights and crowd involved in filming the series. They took those into consideration and opted for a more rural and secluded Glenorie, New South Wales.
The new mansion boasts of the luxurious setting anyone who has ever seen an episode of “The Bachelor” can expect, with fresher air in the countryside, plus a tennis court and a large pool.
The place is absolutely secluded and no neighbours are in sight this time. It is located 40 miles away from the previous set.
It is not yet known as to how much the crew would have to spend for renting out this mansion. However, it was reported last year that the previous destination cost $250,000 a week to rent.
As intense as the upcoming events in this setting will be for the next few weeks, it cannot be denied that it still is the perfect setting for the beginning of a love story for a new couple.
Another post by Daily Mail reveals how Osher Gunsberg shows off the new mansion
Gunsberg considers the new setting larger and much better than ever seen before. He boasts that the crew spent a month decorating the new setting.
He also points to the 2.02 hectare garden as big enough to land a helicopter. From the looks of it, maybe it could accommodate up to several more.
It is also complete with romantic areas where Richie Strahan can take the searchees and chat with them one on one. This would provide a more intimate setting for the bachelor and his potential partner and would be more conducive for developing a relationship.
Warner Brothers, the production company for “The Bachelor,” brushed aside rumours of there being a positive pregnancy test found inside by a crew member. It confirmed that there is absolutely no truth to this in a statement.
“The Bachelor” Australia airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. on Channel TEN.
