The episode nine of "The Bachelor, Australia" was full of drama and suspense, and two girls did not get the rose. In the last week's episode, Tim confessed that he might be falling for Anna, while this week: his heart was thinking only of Alison.

Alison desperately wanted to have a one to one time with Tim, but the date card arrived for Rochelle. Alison was obviously jealous but according to her, it did not worry her much as she thought Rochelle is not Tim's type.

Rochelle said that she feels there is a spark between her and Tim. She wanted to make things happen on the date so that she stands out. Tim said that he finds Rochelle "very classy" and "sophisticated."

For the one to one date, they went pearl hunting and Rochelle found a huge pearl in one of the oysters. Rochelle recalled her first date with Tim. On that date, she had received a rose as well as a pair of diamond earrings. After spending some alone time with Tim, Rochelle said that Tim is "definitely" her kind of man, while Tim described her as someone who is confident and is a seductive temptress, which he thought were attractive traits. Tim felt that Rochelle has some kind of strong feelings for him.

Tim confessed that he felt intimidated when he first met Rochelle and thought that this girl is "out of my reach." Tim told her that she is absolutely gorgeous and she was all big smiles. In the SPA pool, the two went for a proper intimate kiss, together.

Rochelle came back to the rest of the girls, with a rose in the hand. Seeing the pearl and thinking of the diamond earrings, Anna expressed that Rochelle will be her biggest threat.

The group date card arrived with a catch. It was an elimination date card, which said ""Fly to Sea, Two from Three." Alison, Danielle and Sarah were the three girls chosen to go on the group and only two would be returning. Danielle felt that she was getting dumped, while Alison was going mental.

The three girls took a ride in a helicopter to meet Tim in the catamaran. There was a little adventure drill waiting for the three girls. Tim said that it would show him which girl is ready to take the leap of faith right in front of him, and the girl who does that is his girl. The adventure: swing like a pendulum holding a rope and land in the water. Sarah had a shaky jump, while Alison and Danielle had a clean landing.

To impress Tim, Alison tried to repeat her act, with a new gimmick added. She tried to spin and spin, a little out of control and landed in the water in a weird way, which resulted in a mishap. She hurt her leg. Tim had to carry her to take her to the hospital, which gave Alison her much desired one to one time with him.

The accident made Alison realise that her feelings for Tim were much stronger than before, while Tim was at his caring best and Alison's positive attitude made a positive impression on him. He saw Alison as a potential partner and was perturbed thinking that she might have to quit the show. He confessed that his heart was thinking about Alison only.

Sarah and Danielle did not get eliminated at the catamaran. They joined the rest of the girls for the cocktail party and informed them about Alison's accident. Alison came back on crutches and received the first rose from Tim.

There were two eliminations on Wednesday night. Natalie and Sarah were the bachelorettes who said goodbye. Anna, Danielle, Rochelle, Alison and Katherine were the girls who received the red rose.
