Rochelle will always be remembered as the girl who was the runner-up in the first edition of "The Bachelor, Australia." In the final episode of Australia's "The Bachelor," Tim Robards said to Rochelle that his heart is leading him somewhere else, which meant 'I am dumping you because I am in love with Anna.'

Reality shows are a form of entertainment and follow a set format. However, real emotions get entangled as Rochelle is finding out Tim had fallen for Anna but he could not express that openly before the end of the final episode.

"It's been so hard because the producers wanted to keep that jeopardy going and all I wanted to say was 'yes, I fell in love (with Anna) and yes, it's going great'. I'm the happiest man in the world right now," Tim said to news.co.au.

Unable to openly say what his heart wanted, Tim kept Rochelle hopeful. He said all the right words, kissed her and hugged her intimately, without dropping any hint that he is not going to choose her. Till the last moment, Rochelle thought she had a chance as Tim made it look like he was into her.

In a candid interview with Rosie of Mamamia.com, Rochelle said "Tim explained that the reason he was feeling so intimate towards me the night before is because he knew he was going to say goodbye to me the next day." The explanation made Rochelle really upset.

"... that obviously makes me feel like we weren't on the level that I thought. There wasn't enough respect towards me as what I hoped for. And he was obviously so fixated on this other person, that I was forgotten about. And that really hurt for me because he was my everything during the show."

Chatting with posters on news.co.au's blog, Rochelle said that it took her a few weeks to really settle. According to her, it was one of the hardest moments in her life. Talking about how she felt when Tim revealed that she is not the girl, Rochelle said: "I felt my stomach drop! Such a surreal moment. So confused and overwhelmed."

Rochelle is still friends with Anna despite her feelings "still a little raw" and the final episode did "pull on the heart strings quite a bit." However, Rochelle believes that it is important to remain strong now that the hardest part has already taken place. "I can spend time healing and focusing on moving on."
