Lauren, one of the new girls, did not receive a red rose in episode 13 of "The Bachelor Australia" Season 2. She was the only girl from the new girl group to go on a single date as well as be part of a couple of group dates. However, Blake and Lauren failed to connect. Lauren was unable to shed her shyness around Blake and make him interested in her. Also in the episode, Laurina did not attend the rose ceremony, as she was recovering in a hospital [she was in immense pain and was taken to the hospital]. Blake, however, ensured that she received the red rose.

Here is what else happened in Wednesday's episode:

The single date card arrived for Lisa. The words written on it were, "you guess, my heart racing." The location of the date was Royal Randwick. Blake wanted to see if Lisa opens up to him. It was an ultimate date for Lisa, as she loves going to races and had mentioned about it to Blake. The man had gone ahead and organised a special race just for the viewing of the two. It was Lisa's horse that won the two horse competition. As a reward, the winner received a shoulder massage from the man. Blake said to Lisa that he can see a future with her and that he does not mind taking trips to Queensland, if she plans to stay on there. This touched Lisa. She later admitted to Blake that she can 'definitely' see herself falling in love with him. Blake believed her words, as he thought she is being upfront and honest. He gave her the red rose and the kiss followed.

The group date card arrived for Louise, Sam, Jessica, Lauren and Zoe. The date asked, "Are you a believer?" The girls, especially Jessica, thought that the date may be at a fairytale setting. However, the location of the group date turned out to be at the most haunting places in Australia. Meanwhile, Chantal informed the girls that Laurina was coiled throughout the night in pain and had gone to the hospital. The girls discussed the possibility of Laurina exiting the competition.

A psychic, who has felt the presence of the spirits of the location, joined Blake and the five girls at the group date. She did some readings inside the haunted house. She told Jessica that she is independent and strong willed and also mentioned something about the soul mate. Sam got to hear that she worries a lot and also over-analyses. The psychic said to Blake that he will find his partner and that it has got very good probability that it could last.

Jessica, just like the Luna Park group date, managed to stay close to Blake. This bugged the rest of the girls and Sam, as always, was vocal in expressing her displeasure. At the cocktail party, Chantal took up the matter with Blake, as every girl was feeling that he has already made up his mind. This made Blake defend Jessica, saying that she makes an attempt to be with him. Also, he told her that he has not yet made up his mind. Later, he was seen assuring Sam and telling her that he sees a future with her [he seems to be seeing a future with too many girls, and which may land him in trouble towards the end].

Lauren exited the competition.
