‘The Bachelor Australia’ Season 2: Exit of Another Favourite, Top Two Girls In Season Finale
The penultimate episode of "The Bachelor Australia" Season 2 saw the exit of Louise. In recent weeks, Louise had definitely emerged as the strong contender to get the proposal from Blake. But, it looks like she failed to make Blake see a life-long future with her. Louise was in tears and said that she would always love Blake.
Lisa truly has emerged as the dark horse of this season. Week after week, it was being speculated, including by myself, that she would exit the competition before the finale. On their dates, Blake and Lisa looked friendly but their scenes never gave the impression that there is something special going on between the two. However, the eliminated bachelorettes, when they came for the reunion episode, said that there is a good connection between Lisa and Blake. The two are always laughing when together. Lisa is a gem of a person, there is no doubt about that. She is mature, understanding and becomes a kid with the kids. Lisa has all the qualities that a man would fall for in the real world.
Sam said "I love you" to Blake in the penultimate episode. Last week, she was terrified when she came to know from her sister that Blake is falling in love with her. Blake thought that she has doubts about herself and their relationship. Sam was the last to receive the red rose in episode 18. But, her ace of "I love you" has erased that moment of confusion. Sam is a real person who wears her heart on her sleeve. All their dates have shown that Sam and Blake have a good connection and Blake has sent Sam more single date cards than Lisa. Blake and Sam can be great friends in the real world and the foundation of a successful romantic relationship or a successful marriage is friendship.
According to Blake's profile, he is looking for someone "who can make him laugh, enjoys good banter, has a sense of adventure and possesses ambition and confidence." Lisa seems to be his kind of woman. And, seeing that Blake is sending the favourites home, it can be speculated that the next bachelorette to get into the car, alone, might be Sam. But, at the moment, Sam is still 'THE FAVOURITE'.
