'Bachelor in Paradise' cast update: Sarah Vendal, Raven Gates, Alexis Waters and Chad Johnson on board
In the last season of “The Bachelor In Paradise,” Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray found love and got engaged. After their whirlwind romance, the two have decided to split ways. Now the mother-of-two is looking to find love again -- but she is not going back to the island.
In an Instagram live broadcast (via Accept This Rose), Amanda went on the record to say that she is still looking for love. However, she went on to clarify that she will not be doing it on the next season of “Bachelor In Paradise.”
But while she revealed her intentions, she did give fans of the show a piece of vital casting information. She noted that Sarah Vendal, a friend of Amanda and a contestant in Nick Viall’s season of “The Bachelor,” will be joining the upcoming group of BIP.
Despite Amanda’s absence, Sarah will not be without friends on the show. Several of Nick’s other eliminated ladies are expected to join, although some still have not confirmed their participation. Included in the list are Corinne Olympios, Raven Gates and Alexis Waters.
Corinne has been unclear about her attendance, but she is arguably one of the biggest fan favourites to join. Her antics and unique charm put her ahead of the competition during Nick’s run as the Bachelor, but her current relationship status might hinder her from attending.
On the other hand, Raven confirmed her participation during her interview on “After The Final Rose.” The runner-up seemed excited to take part of the spinoff show. “If Nick can go to ‘Paradise’ and do this experience and find love… I can too,” she told host Chris Harrison.
Alexis is another competitor that has gone on the record to say she will be on the show. “I’m so down for it,” she said in an interview with E! News. “I feel like I came out of the womb for ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’”
Chad Johnson, who has arguably become notorious for his stints on “The Bachelor” franchise, already has his eye on a few contestants. His strong personality and reputation is sure to help ignite the drama on the island.
The filming of “Bachelor In Paradise” usually begins sometime in June, in order to give production some time before the August premiere. The full cast has not yet been announced, but is likely to be made public within the next few weeks.
