‘The Bachelor’ Season 20 Episode 2 recap: Ben Higgins takes girls on group date, kisses three girls

In Episode 2 of “The Bachelor” Season 20, Jackie, Mandi and Sam were eliminated. At the beginning of the episode, Jackie, Lauren “LB,” Lauren H., Becca, Amber, Mandy, JoJo, Jubilee, Jennifer and Lace went for a group date. The women were dropped off at a Los Angeles high school dubbed as “Bachelor High.”

All the 10 women were tasked to do exercises like “ Shoot a basketball hoop” and “Make Ben’s volcano explode.” Their sense of geography was also put to test when they were asked to locate Ben Higgin’s home state of Indiana on a map. They also indulged in another exercise called the “lunch class,” where the women had to transport a red apple floating in a fish tank to a lunch tray without using their hands.

Mandi won the final battle and got some personal time with Ben. “ I just want this date to be goofy and fun so I'm taking the girls back to school today,” he said. In the evening, the group met up again for a date, where Ben kissed three lucky women.

Meanwhile, at the end, Lace also got her time with “The Bachelor” during a one-to-one. However, her thing about eye contact is becoming an issue on the show. Finally, the group date rose went to JoJo after she and Ben made out on the roof of the building.

Ben then took Ciala for a date along with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. At the end of their dinner date, Ben gave Ciala a rose, which she accepted. They danced and even kissed during a private Amos Lee concert.

In the next group date, the women (Emily, Shushanna, Sam, Olivia, Haley and Amanda) went through a weird Love Lab test. They went through a series of “scientific” experiments to determine their numerical score of compatibility with Ben. They had them run on a treadmill for a few minutes so that a blindfolded Ben could smell their sweat and decide if he was attracted to them or not, People reports.

They then had to sit down on a bed with Ben with an instrument attached to their body. The rest of the women watched the test live on-screen outside the room. Olivia scored the highest points.

In the evening, Ben got all the women to hotel and only Olivia to his room to make love. He kissed Amanda and gave the group date rose to Olivia.

LB later denied a rose from Ben, so Amber got the rose. Kaley Cuoco and Kris Jenner also made an appearance on the show this week.
