"Bachelor in Paradise" debuts on August 4, 2014 at 8:00 pm ET on ABC. The show brings back "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" series' most popular or controversial alums. The reality show will provide these rejected contestants a second chance of finding true love. Series' long-time host Chris Harrison will host the show.

As per the press release by ABC, 25 former cast members will come together and "travel to beautiful Tulum" in Mexico in quest of love. The show begins with the arrival of eight women and six men as cast members. The report notes that at the first rose ceremony the male cast members will give out roses to the women they'd reportedly "like to spend more time while their stay in the 'paradise.'" The first rose ceremony will also see the elimination of the two women who do not receive roses. The show's format is such that it brings "drastic changes" into the paradise and burgeoning love lives of the contestants each week. Each episode will introduce new men or women to the game.

Host Chris Harrison spoke to Zap2it about "Bachelor in Paradise" and revealed what to expect.

"It's so beyond -- I don't even know how to explain how good it is," Chris Harrison said.
