‘The Bachelor’ Update: Chris Harrison Reveals His Choice Of Next Leading Man For Season 20
“The Bachelor” Season 19 (2015) is nearing its finale. It’s the perfect time for speculations and rumours to begin rolling in. However, franchise’s long-time host Chris Harrison already has revealed his choice of next leading man.
TMZ spoke to Chris Harrison recently and asked him which athlete he’d like to see leading Season 20 of 2016. He revealed that he would like to give the “lead role” to Dallas Cowboys star Dez Brynt.
Chris Harrison said he is “selfish” and a big fan of the franchise--which is why he would choose one of the singles on the team. According to the TV show host, Dez Brynt, 26, is the perfect candidate.
“How emotional! That would be a great season, right? And at the end we might have the same issue: Was it a catch? That would be the answer for the fantasy suite as well” Chris Harrison said.
Further, he talked about the procedure in selecting the bachelor for each season. According to him, there are several factors to consider, including popularity on the last show, fan following and more. However, fans will have to wait until later this year to know who would be leading the next year’s season of “The Bachelor.”
Meanwhile, speculations about who could be the next bachelorette for Season 11 airing in the year 2015 are running rampant. Rumours floating around claim that Chris Soules’ season contestants Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe are the frontrunners. In an interview with E!Online, Chris Harrison addressed the rumours. However, he refrained from revealing if they are actual contenders for Season 11 of ‘The Bachelorette.’
Chris Harrison said he would “love” to do a season with Kaitlyn Bristowe. He believes a season led by the 29-year-old dance instructor from Alberta will be fun. As for Britt Nilson, the 25-year-old Chiropractic Assistant, he believes her show will be a lot more “emotional and heartfelt.” Considering her good looks, Chris Harrison feels she is going to be very popular among men.
