It is now confirmed that Australia’s first bachelorette, Sam Frost, has bagged a new gig. She will be hosting 2Day FM’s new breakfast radio show, “Rove & Sam,” alongside Rove McManus.

Frost is reportedly excited about making her debut on radio, although she is embarking on a new career without much experience. She is relying on McManus’ experience to help her excel as a host.

“He’s such a great mentor, I’ve hit the jackpot with McManus, I seriously can’t believe it,” Frost told News.com.au. She said that for her it is an honour to be working with someone who has so much experience, adding “he’ll be able to help me along the way.”

Frost, who recently picked 30-year-old construction manager Sasha Mielczarek in the final episode of “The Bachelorette Australia,” is open to criticism, as she thinks “that’s the only way you get better.”

McManus, on the other hand, has said that he and Frost have “crossed paths a little bit.” The three-time Gold Logie-winner admitted that he watched “The Bachelorette Australia.”

“... we have hung out a little bit since we got together for this process and Sam has come over and hung out and my daughter Ruby loves her and approves of Sasha,” he said.

McManus also revealed that the co-hosts are planning to go on a double date with their respective partners.

Meanwhile, Frost is not much worried about waking up early in the morning. News.com.au quoted her as saying, “It’s good because Sash starts work at 5am, he works early hours, goes to be early, so I think it will be fine.” She also mentioned that her boyfriend has been “incredibly supportive.”

The station decided to tap Frost and McManus after axing former morning show hosts Dan Debuf and Maz Compton last Friday.

“Rove & Sam,” with Frost and McManus as co-hosts, hits the airwaves on Monday, Nov. 9 on 104.1 2DayFM at 6 a.m.
