'The Bachelorette Australia': What the men will do to get Georgia Love's attention
“The Bachelorette Australia" has announced it is coming back to the small screen this September but has until now been tight lipped about its roster of contestants. In a recent teaser, it is seen how far men will go to make a good first impression on Georgia Love.
The men who are all vying for the heart of Georgia are aged 26 to 35, each with their own quirks and endearing qualities. While audiences will see more of that once “The Bachelorette Australia" airs later on this month, the official teaser of the show has already given a glimpse of 16 of Australia’s most eligible bachelors.
Their careers are quite varied, with one being a firefighter (Cameron, 26), another an entrepreneur/model (Rhys, 29), and another is a sailor (Ryan, 28). More importantly, Channel Ten provided viewers some very colourful and memorable first impressions.
One cast member, Ben, who is 32 years old, tripped on his way to Georgia. He was able to catch himself and smoothly told Georgia that he was “falling for her already,” which Georgia giggled at after asking if he was all right. On the other hand, 33-year-old Carlos asked “The Bachelorette” how she feels about poetry.
What could be most unforgettable move, however, is the one pulled by Lee. The 25-year-old contestant brought along a donkey with him. His revealed the same to Georgia while asking her, “Does my ass look big in that?”
“Very, very different guys,” Georgia says at the end of the trailer. “But some really good ones!”
Ten’s new bachelorette, Georgia, was introduced to audiences relatively late. The announcement was made in June, where the 27-year-old journalism graduate said she wanted a man who could make her laugh. “[A man] who’s driven,” she explains. “And knows what they want out of life and has the passion to achieve that.”
“The Bachelorette Australia” will debut on Sept. 21 on Ten.
