“The Bachelorette” contestant Tasos Hernandez is gay, according to a report. The 30-year-old wedding event coordinator reportedly only used to date men prior to joining the hit U.S. reality show.

On Monday’s episode, the contestants were treated to a singing lesson by the boy band Boyz II Men so they could serenade bachelorette Andi Dorfman with the group’s chart-topping single “I’ll Make Love to You.”

While the other men were intent on learning how to woo Andi, it appeared that Tasos and Josh Murray got a little bit cosy together.

They were seen getting very chummy rehearsing the song, and even more so while they were sharing a bottle of wine, as shown in the outtake.

Apparently, getting close to guys wasn’t new to Tasos because he is interested in dating men. He also wasn’t really interested in winning Andi’s heart.

“I’ve only known Tasos to date guys before this,” a source told In Touch Weekly.

If the rumour is true, Andi will be livid, according to the magazine. The 27-year-old assistant district attorney is apparently genuinely looking for love and “doesn’t have time for B.S.”

Tasos were eliminated, though, so Andi shouldn’t have to worry about ending up with someone not interested in her.

Eric Hill, 31, was also sent home after Andi told her to.

Eric, who died in April after a paragliding accident, confronted Andi over his concern that she wasn’t being herself with him. He told her that he wanted to meet a real person and not a “TV actress,” prompting Andi to cry.

Andi then told her to leave the show, which he did.

Instead of a rose ceremony, host Chris Harrison just announced to the viewers that Tasos was eliminated.

In real time, Chris and Andi had a discussion about Eric’s unexpected exit.

“To be honest, the way Eric left and my last conversation with him, it’s not ideally the last conversation that I would want to have with somebody,” a sombre Andi said.

Eric died of injuries three days after a paragliding accident in Utah in April. He was out of the show by that time.
