The show kicked off with Chris Harrison welcoming the audience in the studios. He made a big revelation and let the audience know that the runner up is still in love with the leading lady Andi Dorfman. He apparently tried to get in touch with her but did not succeed in changing her mind. However, he got the second chance on the finale.

Family Dates

The first finalist to meet up with Andi Dorfman's family was Nick Viall. While the man looked very nervous, he didn't forget to get small gifts for the family. They had dinner together. The 33-year-old bachelor managed to impress Andi's mother, who was seen with tears in her eyes by the end of their conversation. As for Andi's father, he asked him lots of questions about the future. Nick told him that if Andi picked him, he would still want her father to bless the couple and give his approval.

Next up to meet up with the bachelorette's family was Josh Murray who looked very nervous. Andi's father was concerned about him being an athlete. However, he even made fun of him being so nervous. Josh managed to win over Andi's sister. Andi's father grilled Josh with many questions and he then asked for the permission to marry his daughter. Despite the awkward conversation, Andi's father allowed him to propose his daughter.

Final One-On-One Dates

Finalists' family dates were followed by Andi Dorfman's final one-on-one date with her final suitors. Andi hoped that these final dates will help her make the right decision.

For her date with Josh, Andi went for a boat ride and she tried to revive the memories of her first date with the bachelor. They shared some heartfelt moments together but she was still not clear if he is the one. During their evening time, Josh assured her that he is ready and nothing would change his mind. He read her a letter he wrote to her and presented her a baseball card with her stats on its back. She definitely seemed impressed. But is it enough to win her heart?

As for her final one-on-one date with Nick, the couple travelled to a private lagoon for picnic. During their evening time, Nick told Andi that he is nervous. He tried to figure Andi's feelings for him. She tried to reassure him and help him move past his previous engagement. They tried to envision their future together. At the end, he surprised her with a necklace he made for her from the sand where he first expressed his feelings for her.

But before Andi Dorfman and her final suitors headed for the final rose ceremony, she led a shocking twist in the fairytale. She showed up on Nick Viall's door and called it off after telling him that she didn't feel they were "right" together. Nick was left heartbroken and in tears. He threw away all the roses he received during the season in the trashcan. He packed his bags and left in a limo.

The Proposal

Bachelor nation fans finally got to witness a heart warming proposal. After Josh and Andi's speeches, Josh Murray went down on one knee to ask for Andi Dorfman's hand. And she said yes. So fans know, Andi Dorfman picks Josh Murray as the winner of "The Bachelorette" Season 10 (2014).

After the Final Rose Special (ATFR)

The after-show kicked off with moments showing heartbroken Nick and how he is struggling with Andi Dorfman's decision. He revealed that he is not yet over Andi and he feels that Josh Murray is not the right person for her. He has tried to contact her twice, but each time he met with rejection.

He was in the studios to meet Andi Dorfman, who seemed reluctant at first. Andi tells Nick that she did read his letter. He had questions to ask. But Andi did not seem to satisfy him. She told him that she did not love him but she did care about him.

As the show moved close to its end, the much-awaited moment arrived. Andi Dorfman was joined by the winner of "The Bachelorette" Season 10 (2014) Josh Murray. It was now fans got a glimpse into couple's life after the finale. They reveal that they are excited to make their relationship public and get married. The happy couple revealed that they are planning a spring wedding.
