It is always interesting to read or watch villains who show some kindness at least temporarily. It shows that evil characters can actually look better fighting for justice instead of wreaking havoc.

Here are some super villains who turned out to be good. This list is not definitive and arranged at random.

1. Magneto

According to Comicvine.com, the archenemy of the X-Men was actually their leader when Professor X was on the verge of death. Despite his conflicting views with Professor X, the latter remains close to his former best friend and the two would join forces every now and then to defeat a greater evil. Magneto is often portrayed to grow soft when he has the advantage of destroying the X-Men leader. Many times, he saved members of the X-Men and fought for good.

2. Hawkeye

The expert marksman used to be an enemy of Iron Man after he teamed up with Black Widow. Later on, he was amazed by Iron Man, which spurred him to change sides and join the Avengers.

3. Black Widow

Natasha Romanova used to be a KGB and is one of the greatest spies ever and used to be an enemy of Iron Man. She previously convinced Hawkeye to fight Iron Man with her. After she overcame getting brainwashed by the KGB, she joined the Avengers and became a SHIELD agent.

4. Venom

Although Eddie Brock was generally known to be the arch nemesis of Spiderman, he is actually an antihero who fights for good. His intentions are good although he is usually misinterpreted as a villain because of the way he ravages everything and anyone who crosses his path as he attempts to fulfill his objectives. In an article by g4tv.com, Venom is a pseudo-vigilante who protects the cause of helpless people.

5. White Queen

Emma Frost used to be an evil member of the Hellfire Club but subsequently changed sides to become part of the X-Men. The telepath became an asset for the X-Men, many times protecting her mutant teammates during battle.

6. Catwoman

She used to be a petty thief then eventually transformed herself into a crime boss. However, her affection for Bruce Wayne or Batman caused her to change. Although she still battles with herself every now and then, she ultimately decides to be good when Batman needs her the most.

7. Rogue

She was a runaway adopted by Mystique, who made her a part of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. After she absorbed the powers of Kree and the psyche of Ms. Marvel, she reformed and moved to the X-Men.

8. The Vision

He is an android created by the robot Ultron for evil purposes. However, he changed sides and joined the Avengers to help fight the evil caused by his own former master.
