The punk popstar just announced her engagement and now, Avril promises that her wedding dress will be "badass."

The 27-year-old singer turned designer is set to marry "Nickelback" singer Chad Kroeger after he popped the question just last month. And when asked about her plans for the wedding gown, Avril revealed some details.

During the fashion show of her Abbey Dawn spring collection last night, she said that she have plans to design or collaborate with someone in making her wedding gown.

"Either it's something I'm going to design, or partner up with, collaborate with another designer," she excitedly said. "It might be something that I buy a few different dresses and rip them up and put them all together and dye them."

The 37-year-old "Nickelback" frontman said that although some may consider it a whirlwind romance, it was a very natural process for the two of them.

"'It was really natural, and we met in the studio and were friends for a while, and one of our last days in the studio was when he proposed, and it was super romantic and it had a lot of meaning behind it," Kroeger said.

Meanwhile, Avril remains mum about her ex Brody Jenner but maintains a close friendship with his family. She recently had his sister, Kylie Jenner, to open and close her runway show in New York.

Avril debuted her Abbey Dawn clothing line in 2008 which also sells perfumes. Although she is more popularly known as a punk star, it seems like she is managing well in the clothing business. Avril is just one of the many celebrities who have launched their own clothing line. Other famous stars include Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and many more.
