Who says that US President Barack Obama is losing his popularity among Americans? Not so, if response to his latest book " Of The I Sing, Letters to My Daughters" is to be believed.

Obama proves to be popular, at least among American book buyers. His latest book was in the Top 25 of Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble as of Wednesday, only after 48 hours after the children's book was unveiled, and two months before it will be available for public consumption. Because of this positive response, Random House Children's Books is set to come out with 500,000 copies in the first printing.

Critics can indeed say that this comes as no surprise as Barack Obama's previous two books, Dreams From My Father and The Audacity of Hope are both best-sellers, with millions of copies sold. But another interesting feat of Barack Obama is that he is one of the very few US Presidents who came out with a book while still in office. And with his potential best-seller Of Thee I Sing, Obama is set to make another mark on history as one of the even rarer US Presidents to have a best-selling book while still in the White House.

At a press briefing last Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs commented on what the book is all about: "If you read the book, it is, I think the president would tell you, an inspirational book about the country they live in and about their ability and the ability for children throughout this country to dream, as the president talked about yesterday ( to dream big and accomplish whatever they want to."
