Barbara Walters has unveiled the Top 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013 on her last TV special which was aired on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at ABC. Walters is reportedly retiring in 2014.

The nine most fascinating people of 2013 has been revealed prior to the Barbara Walters TV special and it includes singer Miley Cyrus, NSA leaker Edward Snowden, ABC anchor Robin Roberts, The stars of "Duck Dynasty," Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence.

The other fascinating people who made the list are Prince George, Kimye (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West), long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad and Pope Francis.

Who won the Top spot? It's former U.S. Secretary of State, U.S. Senator, and First Lady of the United States Hillary Clinton!

Clinton, whose term as the 67th U.S. Secretary of State ended on Feb. 1, 2013. She served in that position from 2009-2013 and was replaced by the 68th U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who assumed office on Feb. 2, 2013.

Clinton has been part of Walters' list of the most fascinating people for several years already. She first made the list in 1993. After 10 years, she was included in the list again in 2003. In 2012, Clinton was included in Barbara's list for the third time. Clinton finally topped Barbara Walters' list of the Top 10 Most Fascinating People in 2013.

"In all the years that we've been doing this special, no one has been on the show more than our next guest," said Walters on her TV special in 2012.

"I guess that means that every decade or so, Hillary Clinton has shaken up our preconceptions and redefined herself," added Walters.

Walters' "The 10 Most Fascinating People" list is a special ABC broadcast. It was launched in 1993 and it shows a year-end review of the most popular newsmakers of the year. Plus, it reveals the "most fascinating" person. It is done annually and it has been said that 2013 will be the last year Barbara Walters' "The 10 Most Fascinating People" will air because Walters will finally retire in 2014. If that is indeed the case, then it is a bittersweet ending for Walters whose TV special has been around for years with a lot of people looking forward to it at the end of each year not just in the U.S. where it is aired, but also worldwide.
