"Bates Motel" Season 2 has reached its midpoint and the tension is only rising indicating at the impending storm. The show that is said to be the prequel of the Alfred Hitchcock's film "Psycho" depicts the events from Norma and Norman Bates' lives that occurred prior to the events depicted in 1960s movie. After a thrilling episode 5, "Bates Motel" Season 2 will feature episode 6 titled "The Plunge" airing next week on Monday, April 7, 2014. Norman's growing consciousness about his mother's overprotective behavior is now making him take some extreme steps and hiding some secrets from her. Will he be able to break himself free? On last week's episode titled "The Escape Artist", viewers got a glimpse at Cody and Norman's growing closeness. After he wakes up from his blackout he makes her promise to keep his secret from his mother Norma. They both exchange their dark secrets and discover that how similar they are. The two of them visit Cody's secret tree house where they end up having sex. Meanwhile, Sheriff Romero becomes the new guest at Bates motel, after getting his house burned down by Zane Carpenter. Emma gets closer to Gunner and Norma meets Nick Ford who she hopes will help her in ceasing the bypass plan. Meanwhile, Dylan comes out of a life-threatening situation in an attempt to save Zane and land himself in hospital. There he meets a lady who is his new boss and takes charge of his medical expenses. She is Zane's sister.

In "Bates Motel" Season 2 Episode 6 "The Plunge" the tension will only amplify. As per spoilers, fans can look forward to a highly dramatic and thrilling episode wherein the sequence of events will push Norman Bates over the edge.

According to Melty's spoilers report, tension between Norman and his mother Norma will increase owing to the secret threatening their bond and relationship. Norma is going to uncover "strange" things about her son and will discover one of his deep dark secret that he has been protecting from her until now. These revelations have the potential to "worry many young women" and will only "generate new tensions" for them.

Meanwhile, Norman and Cody will become closer than ever and their relationship will elicit "authoritarian" and "violent" behavior from Norman.

According to the Broadway spoilers from Episode 6 "The Plunge," Dylan is supposed to "take control of a volatile situation." Will he find himself in danger yet again? Elsewhere, Emma must get out of the life-threatening situation that she gets herself in.
