A&E's thriller show "Bates Motel" season 2 is only four episodes away from its season finale. Tension in White Pine Bay is constantly rising. Last week, viewers saw another insane episode wherein Norman Bates got closer to becoming his monstrous self as depicted in the 1960s film "Psycho." The TV series that is said to be the prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's blockbuster thriller movie depicts the events of Norma and Norman Bates' life prior to the events shown in the film. As the show moves forward, Norman's adult personality of a "psycho" is gradually showing up. Tormenting circumstances and events of his life are fully contributing to it. Last week in "Bates Motel" season 2 episode 6, viewers got a glimpse of Norman Bates' manic side. He experienced another blackout following which things got really insane for the people around him. Cody let Norman's secret out to Emma who still has feelings for Norman. The secret went around finally reaching Norma who deters him from taking his driving test. This means he must wait for the license for 3 more years. Norman confronts Cody at her house but ends up scuffling with Cody's father who dies after falling down the stairs.
Picking up from where it left, "Bates Motel" season 2 episode 7 "Presumed Innocent" will go to the depth of the latest murder in White Pine Bay while the old one is looked into at again.
According to the synopsis (as published by Cartermatt), Norma and Norman's relationship will start to suffer, as Norma's faith in her beloved son starts to dwindle. Mother–son relationship will start to deteriorate as a consequence of Norman's faltering mental condition and her overprotective nature. Also, Norman's relationship with Cody will take a backseat in the wake of her father's death. Their increasing closeness and friendship will reach a "breaking point."
As for Dylan, he will find himself in another tough situation where he might be attacked by an ungrateful Zane. Zane seeks revenge from him forgetting that Dylan was the one who saved his life during the street war.
Meanwhile, the long-forgotten Miss Watson's murder case will resurface. While investigating the latest murder in town, Sheriff Romero will discover a new clue related to the murder of Miss Watson. Will the new evidence help the sheriff break down the mystery of the murders in White Pine Bay?
