'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Actor Ben Affleck Flaunts His Ripped Body: The Actor Has Bulked Up To Play Caped Crusader
Ben Affleck recently showed off massive biceps while having lunch in L.A.'s Brentwood neighbourhood. The actor sported a fitted grey t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. He coupled his casual look with a pair of tennis shoes. He was seen coming out of the lunch venue with a cup of coffee in his hands.
The 42-year-old is reportedly bulking up for his role in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," where he plays the Caped Crusader. The actor has been sporting muscular physique since he started shooting for the film. He reportedly needs to have a chiselled body to fit in the Batsuit. "He has put on 30 pounds of muscle and he's 8 percent body fat. He looks pretty good! It's a little bit like 'Whoa, who are you?' It feels like I'm having an affair," Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner gushed about her husband's physique on" Live with Kelly & Michael" in an interview in October, according to Daily Mail.
Affleck is reportedly thrilled to play the role of Batman in the Zack Snyder's film. His character is going to be much different from what Christian Bale and Chris Nolan have previously played on -screen. "It will be an older and wiser version," the actor said in his interview to Screen Rant. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is currently being shot in Detroit. The cast and crew of the film recently did some charity work by providing aid to the local bat population who is suffering from white-nose syndrome. Affleck said in a video that bats are a vital part of the ecological system and they contribute in many ways to the environment. The bats are reportedly important to agriculture and general health and wellbeing of humans. The cast and crew of the film have created a hashtag, #SaveTheBats to promote the campaign.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to be released on March 24, 2016. The other cast of the film includes Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Diana Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Jeremy Irons. The film has been conceptualised by Snyder and David S. Goyer. Chris Terrio has written the screenplay.
