'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice': The Caped Crusader will 'exploit' the 'goodness' of his adversary
The Caped Crusader will have a way to deal with the super strength of his adversary in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The character will apparently “exploit” the “goodness” of the Man of Steel in the movie.
According to a report by Comic Book, director Zack Snyder has indicated that Batman will fight “dirty” in the movie. "The advantage that Batman has is the goodness of Superman," the director said in a recent interview. The report expects him to acquire Kryptonite, which is perhaps the only known vulnerability of the Man of Steel.
Batman will also need to rely on his Batsuit in order to take the powerful punches of his adversary in the movie. The suit was created using CGI, cast member Ben Affleck who plays the role revealed. The actor apparently had to wear a skin tight motion capture suit while filming scenes involving the Batsuit. The actor described the motion capture suit as "the most humiliating, ridiculous thing in the world." The suit however, allowed him to film the action sequences with relative ease, which may not have been possible if he had to wear a heavy costume.
While the two major superheroes battle each other in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” others may stand to benefit. The most prominent character who may take advantage of the fight is Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).
According to a report by ScreenRant, Eisenberg revealed in a recent interview that although he held fellow cast member Affleck in high esteem off set; he had to be condescending towards him while filming his scenes. Eisenberg described his scenes with Affleck as “really quite nasty.”
The report also reveals that the role of Lex Luthor was originally planned for someone who was older than Eisenberg. However, when Snyder met with Eisenberg; he decided to make the relevant changes to the character and present a young villain to the audience in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
