‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ – Jason Momoa Talks About Aquaman
Speaking at the Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta, Jason Momoa spoke about playing the role of Aquaman in the movie "Justice League." However, he did not comment on his reported cameo as Aquaman in the upcoming movie "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is a highly anticipated movie that will feature many superheroes. The villain in the movie is Lex Luthor, the major characters featuring in the movie are known to the audience because of the several movies featuring the characters. But not many people may be familiar with Aquaman, especially since the movie will be released to international audience.
That however may soon change for Aquaman. According to a report by ComicBook, Jason Momoa believes that the solo movie planned for the superhero may be an origin story and the character will also be featuring prominently in the movie "Justice League."
Talking about his reported cameo in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" the actor said "I really wish I could say something, but I don't even know." In the same interview, the actor spoke about respecting the producers when he had to refrain from disclosing his role as Aquaman. Producers generally tend to make actors sign non-disclosure agreements with the hope of surprising the audience in the movie theaters.
Jason Momoa is however excited to play the role of Aquaman. He spoke about his Polynesian heritage and pointed out that the Polynesian gods Kahoali and Maui are water gods. He said that there were very few "brown superheroes" and he would be proud to represent Polynesians.
The actor counted his experience in studying Marine Biology and riding dolphins as some of experiences he can use for the movie. One of the major powers of Aquaman is his ability to communicate with marine creatures.
The three superheroes that movie buffs can expect to see in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" are Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent and Wonder Woman. The other popular characters in the movie include Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, Alfred, Martha Kent, Perry White and Cyborg. The movie will feature the two popular superheroes, Batman and Superman, battle each other.
