A shocking report claimed that the new Batmobile was robbed from the set of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." However, movie's director Zack Snyder took to Twitter to quash the rumours. Meanwhile, leaked videos show the hot automobile in action.

The biggest revelation from Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill starrer "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" came last week when the director unveiled Batmobile. Soon after, false rumours about the Batman's car's robbery started to swirl around.

Sources told Bleeding Cool that "one of the Batmobile models being used in the filming" is believed to be "stolen." The report spread like a wildfire and caused quite a stir in the media. However, the report provides an update citing Detroit Free Press report and confirming that it was just a rumour. Detroit Police Spokesman Sgt Michael Woody confirmed that "the Batmobile is safe in the Batcave where it belongs."

Meanwhile, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder took to Twitter to mock the rumours and to set the record straight. He posted a photo of "Star Wars" Stormtrooper being arrested by Gotham City Police Department after stealing Batmobile. He captioned the photo: "Case Closed."

At the same time, videos from the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" sets have been leaked and shows the newly unveiled Batmobile speeding up in action. The videos surfaced on photo and video sharing website Instagram. Comicbookmovie presented a collection of such videos on the website for fans. The videos were posted by account user brasherj.

The images of Ben Affleck's Batman's Batmobile first appeared on the internet last week. Following the news, Zack Snyder revealed the real look of the vehicle on a tweet posted by him on Twitter on Sept. 11. The image provided a detailed look at the car that has evolved over the years and is equipped with battle equipments and artillery. Fans can expect to see Ben Affleck using the ride in lots of fight sequences.

Besides Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" also features Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and more. The movie is scheduled to release on March 25, 2016.
