'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice': Lego set may have revealed major battle sequence; Connection to 'Wonder Woman' movie revealed
A major battle scene in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” may have been revealed in a Lego toy set. Meanwhile, another report suggests that there will be a connection between the Zack Snyder movie and the forthcoming “Wonder Woman” movie.
According to a report by Comic Book Movie, a Lego toy set shows Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) riding a kryptonite helicopter in a battle sequence involving Superman (Henry Cavill). The battle will also involve Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Batman (Ben Affleck), according to the report.
The Batwing plane is also said to be a part of the battle. The Lego toy set shows Lois hanging onto the Lex’s helicopter, while the villain fights both Wonder Woman and Superman. The action sequence is expected to take place above the fictitious city of Metropolis.
Meanwhile, a report by Heroic Hollywood states that the “Wonder Woman” movie being directed by Patty Jenkins will have a connection to “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) will apparently be looking for something that went missing in the solo movie.
[Spoiler alert]
According to the report, the main villain of “Wonder Woman” is the god Ares, who gains power from “malevolent psychic energy” and wants to start World War III. If the war happens, Ares expects to gain enough power to unlock a sword that he stole from the Amazons. The sword will supposedly make Ares the most powerful god and he will be able to take over Olympus.
After the final battle in “Wonder Woman,” the sword goes missing and Gadot’s characters is said to be looking for it in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Filming of Jenkins’ movie is expected to begin soon and so far no details about the plot and villains have been revealed by the producers.
