'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Plot Details: Amy Adams Has Only One Scene With Batman, Actress Loves Playing Lois Lane
Amy Adams is all set to reprise her role as Lois Lane in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The 40-year-old actress recently spoke about her role in Zack Snyder’s film and revealed that she has just one scene with Batman (Ben Affleck).
The actress opened up about the much-awaited film to the Press Association. “I was only in one scene with him (Affleck), I think I’m allowed to say that. So I didn’t get to see much, but what I saw was fantastic,” she said, reported Tewkesburyadmag. Though Adams may have only one scene with Affleck, she reportedly loves playing Lane. She also said that it's a privilege to play the popular character onscreen.
Lane is the award-winning journalist and Superman/Clark Kent’s love interest. She works as a reporter for Daily Planet. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster have created the DC comic character. It was previously reported that Lane may move in with Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” reported Badass Digest. Moreover, it has also been rumoured that their relationship will move to the next level.
Meanwhile, Adams also had praises for her co-star Affleck. She said that Affleck has added his personal perspective to the character of a caped crusader and has done his “own unique thing.” This will be the first time that Affleck will be playing Batman on the silver screen and he is reportedly thrilled to play the role. His character is going to be much different from what Christian Bale and Chris Nolan have previously played. He revealed to Playboy magazine in his previous interview that his character is going to be an “older” and “wiser” version of Batman, reported Latino Review.
Adams even spoke about her working experience with Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in the film. She said that she had a positive experience while working with the 29-year-old actress. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is currently being shot in Detroit. It has been scheduled to be released on March 24, 2016. The other cast of the film includes Jesse Eisenberg, Diana Lane, Laurence Fishburne and Jeremy Irons. The film has been conceptualised by Snyder and David S. Goyer. Chris Terrio has written the screenplay.
