Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Producer Reveals the Age of Batman; Henry Lennix Teases ‘Dramatic’ Script Plus First Look at Bruce Wayne
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is almost two years away but the internet is already flooded with speculations. However, some of these speculations are not just ideas or rumours swirling around. Henry Lennix addresses speculations and talks about the script. Meanwhile, Producer Michael Uslan revealed the age of Batman in Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill starrer "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice"
Michael Uslan, the producer of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" recently revealed the age bracket of Ben Affleck's batman in the movie. Speaking to app.com, Uslan talked about casting decisions in superhero movies. Citing the examples of casting of Robert Downey Jr. in "Iron Man" and Heath Ledger in "The Dark Night," he notes that "every time a director makes a creative, out-of-the-box-thinking decision on casting, it tend to get this." He talked about the "huge outcry" and controversy that it led to.
While addressing the issue the producer also made the big revelation, quashing the rampant rumours. Uslan revealed that when "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens Bruce Wayne is going to be in his "mid-40s." He also noted that he believes that "he's going to be extraordinary."
For those who don't know, Michael Uslan has served as an EP for Batman movies since 1989 when Tim Burton played the role of DC Comics superhero. The producer will also be playing a role in latest Batman movie scheduled to be released in 2016. The revelation shun down the rumours that surfaced last week claiming Affleck's character would be around 50 years old.
In other news, actor Henry Lennix addressed the rumours swirling around. The actor who portrayed General Swanwick in "Man of Steel" sat down with ScreenWeek for an interview. He revealed that his character will make the return in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." While refusing to reveal much about the movie's script, the actor teased that the plot is "very good" and "very dramatic."
He even admitted that one can find out more about the movie on the internet. He told the media outlet that fans have more information than he can reveal. He admits that "some of them seem to be informed." He promises that "this sequel will not disappoint in any way."
