‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' spoilers: Doomsday gets killed by Kryptonite, Ben Affleck’s Batman is a villain
A fan who claimed to have seen the early screening of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” in Los Angeles on Wednesday has revealed some interesting scene details from the film. The viewer also talked about how Ben Affleck’s Batman is portrayed differently in the Zack Snyder film. [Spoiler Alert!]
A Reddit user named ViolatingNDA gave a spoiler-rich review of the film, which include details to Affleck’s version of the Dark Knight. According to the user, Affleck’s Batman or Bruce Wayne may seem like a villain in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Aside from his mask that makes him look menacing, the actor’s version of the caped crusader reportedly likes to inflict pain on criminals.
ViolatingNDA cited one scene in the movie where Batman was “branding a criminal and he had the biggest smile on his face.” The user described Affleck’s portrayal of Batman as the most “standout performance” in the movie. When the character puts his mask on, he reportedly becomes a totally different person from Bruce Wayne.
The same Reddit user also mentioned how Doomsday’s appearance in the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” trailer is “just the tip of the iceberg.” Although details were not provided, the viewer said there is a lot of action involving the villain, which includes defeating Doomsday.
When asked by another Reddit user named thegreatjug if the heroes manage to defeat Doomsday, ViolatingNDA said Superman and Wonder Woman kills Doomsday. They fire Kryptonite laser at him, which rotted his flesh, eventually killing him.
Further talking about the storyline of the movie, ViolatingNDA added that the first and second acts in the film will mostly focus on Batman and Superman’s altercations. The third act will reportedly be all about “Dawn of Justice,” where a fully assembled “Justice League” will be featured by the end of the movie.
The Reddit user was eventually asked by fans about what he saw from the screening of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” One of the questions was whether Jared Leto’s Joker makes a cameo appearance in the film. Leto reportedly doesn’t appear, although he is alluded to in the film with a scene showing a white glove holding a bloody crowbar with Robin in the background.
