"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Star Wars: Episode 7" are two highly anticipated movies and are constantly making headlines. American comedian and podcaster Kevin Smith has been providing updates on Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill starrer "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" ever since the movie was announced. He has been gushing about Zack Snyder's Batman drama. However, the man has reportedly had a change of heart after he recently visited the sets of Harrison Ford starrer "Star Wars: Episode 7."

Fans know Kevin Smith is a friend of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star Ben Affleck. He even got an early sneak peek at the Batsuit. Apparently, he liked what he saw. In the past, he has also revealed some significant details about the movie. However, it remains to be seen if they stand true or not.

Recently, the movies' spy was allowed to take a look at the much-awaited space opera "Star Wars: Episode 7." According to Comicbook, Kevin Smith was "invited" by director JJ Abrams to visit the movie's set "while he was in England recently." His visit reportedly changed his perception about the two movies.

Kevin Smith was at teh Neuchatel International Film Festival when he was asked about both movies. Here's his take on "Star Wars: Episode 7":

"What I saw blew me away. I was...up until then the movie I couldn't wait to see, of course, Batman Vs. Superman," Kevin Smith said.

"Number one I love Batman. Number two I know the guy playing Batman this time, and you know [pointing to his Fat Man jersey] Fat Man," he continued.

He further confessed that "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has now taken "second place."

"Suddenly, the guy who was like, 'Yeah, Star Wars, I liked that as a kid.' That dude is now this dude, who's like, 'Star Wars still means the world to me'," Kevin Smith continued to gush about "Star Wars: Episode 7."

The Web site notes the podcaster didn't reveal any spoilers from the film. However, he raved about JJ Abrams' working style. He "absolutely loved" what he saw. Kevin Smith revealed it was "tactile."

"Star Wars: Episode 7" hits theatres on Dec. 18, 2015. The film is bringing back the original cast. Besides Harrison Ford, fans will see Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. As for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," the movie releases on May 6, 2016 featuring a star-studded cast. Besides Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, the movie features Amy Adams, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg.
