Last fans saw of the batmobile was in May when it was first officially released. However, a few residents managed to take some shots of Batman's automobile while filming for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" continues in Detroit. These leaked photos may very well serve as our first look at the batmobile on set of the movie. A production notice involving fireworks reportedly also hints at the cape crusader's explosive night fights.

According to batman-news, the leaked set photos of the batmobile were shared via Instagram by a couple of users going by the name of mole6674 and amacro13. The images were believed to have been taken while casts and crew were shooting some night scenes in Detroit.

Detroit's Russell Industrial Center was closed off from the public exclusively for the DC movie. According to Movieweb, a batman-news reader claimed a notice was posted around the location advising people of the ongoing production. From Tuesday, Sept. 9, through Friday, Sept. 12, night scenes will be filmed in the area. Batman-news claimed Instagram user mole6674 was at the Center, looked out the window and was greeted by the sight of the batmobile, described to be a "beast of a vehicle."

Additionally, the production notice gave fair warning to local residents that some pyrotechnic disturbances may be felt on Wednesday, Sept. 10, while shooting for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" continues. People were advised to stay indoors and to keep their windows shut for precautionary measures.

Few speculated that Batman (Ben Affleck) may be suiting up as the cape crusader for the reported night shoots. Likewise, he may also be involved in some rather explosive crime-fighting scenes as hinted by the fiery movie effects. However, fans may have to wait for some more set photos to hopefully emerge online to confirm this speculation.

Movieweb adds stunt sequences involving the batmobile will also be filmed at a seaside port in Detroit. These supposed scenes are said to coincide with the reported night shoots at the Russell Industrial Center where the batmobile was spotted.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated for a U.S. release on March 25, 2016.
