‘Batman V Superman’: Movie Extra Confirms Two Deaths, Leaked Photo Shows Funeral Scene
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres on March 25, 2016. Prior to its release, another set photo has been leaked online. This time the image allegedly hints of the death of the U.S. president in the "Man of Steel" sequel.
According to Movieweb, an extra working in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has the details on the said leaked photo, which the site shared on its page. The said image was reportedly shot when the cast and crew were filming in Washington, D.C. The source claimed he was involved in a scene "situated in a half-stadium style set surrounded by tall green screen walls." The "BVS" scene was supposedly for a parade that took place in Washington. However, the parade was reportedly not an ordinary one since it was prepared for the most important leader in the U.S. The source claimed it was actually a funeral parade for the president of the United States.
Interestingly, as per Movieweb, this is the first time the president's involvement in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" was ever mentioned. However, few details are still missing regarding the president's death. It's still uncertain who killed him or where in the story the said funeral parade fits in. Additionally, it's still unknown who will play as the U.S. President.
In the previous month, some set photos from the Lake Orion, Michigan set of "BVS" were also leaked. The International Business Times posted photos of a mausoleum that was built deep in the Orion Oaks County Park. Some vintage cars and a hearse were reportedly also seen parked at an abandoned field used as a set. According to Movieweb, the film extra confirmed the mausoleum scene will be a flashback to the funeral of Bruce Wayne's parents. It will reportedly also feature the family's trusted butler, Alfred Pennyworth.
"It was out in a field with young Bruce Wayne. A flashback to the Wayne funeral. The small set was really cool with the hearse vehicles sporting Gotham license plates," the source said.
However, all these details for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" remain unconfirmed. The unnamed extra may have shared a photo of the Washington, D.C. set, but the U.S. president's involvement in the movie still remains unclear.
