‘Batman V Superman’: New Leaked Set Photos Hint Wayne's Secrets
While filming for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" wraps up in Detroit, new set photos are once again leaked. This time the photos come from a cemetery which supposedly hints of Bruce Wayne's gravesite scenes.
Movieweb claims a new set is being constructed at Lake Orion, Michigan. A mausoleum is being built deep in the Orion Oaks County Park. It was reportedly spotted over the weekend where some vintage cars and a hearse were parked in an abandoned field. The site posted some of the set photos courtesy of Twitter user Superhero Report. The photos were captioned, "ICYMI: New 'BATMAN V SUPERMAN' set photos hint at scene where Batman visits the Waynes' tomb! #HYPE!"
These new set photos from "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" reportedly sparked speculations the sequel will provide a flashback scene into Bruce Wayne's childhood. The movie could look back to his parents' funeral. Inquisitr claims the presence of the hearse could signify the funeral. The site posted another photo of the said automobile courtesy of Twitter user Bananadoc. The image was captioned, "A sad day on the set of #BatmanvSuperman at Orion Oaks County Park?"
Additionally, the Lake Orion construction could supposedly hint of another scene in the movie. This time Bruce Wayne could be getting in touch with his parents at their gravesite. As writer Alan Orange wrote, Batman could be at the mausoleum "to consult the graves of his parents as he has done many times in the past, in all various forms of media."
However, it's still unclear how this particular location will be utilised in the movie. Ben Affleck has reportedly not yet filmed his scenes at the mausoleum at Orion Oaks County Park.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated for a U.S. release on March 25, 2016. Returning casts from "Man of Steel" includes Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent). Among the new casts are Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor) and Jeremy Irons as the new Alfred Pennyworth. Jason Momoa is confirmed as Aquaman and is rumoured to play a part in the sequel.
