'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice': First look at the Barbie dolls of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill
A new set of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” Barbie dolls will be released in March. The toys bear a resemblance to cast members Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot.
The pictures posted on Batman-News show Batman (Affleck), Superman (Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gadot) toys by Barbie. The Dark Knight’s toy comes with a removable mask and a Batarang, while the Wonder Woman toy comes with a sword, shield and magic lasso.
Each toy reportedly has a price tag of $40 (AU $55.32). The toys are expected to be available for purchase next month, but the exact release date hasn’t been revealed.
A picture of an Aquaman (Jason Momoa) toy posted on Comic Book Movie gives fans another look at the costume of the character in the movie. The toy comes with the spear weapon of the character.
When director Zack Snyder first teased a picture of Momoa in costume for the movie, the actor was carrying a spear. “There is only one true king,” the director wrote in the tweet and the picture carried the words “unite the seven.”
It is not clear to what an extent Aquaman will play a role in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The words unite the seven indicate that it may have something to do with the dominance of the seven seas. Most of the promo pictures and trailers of the movie only focus on the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel.
The plot of the movie revolves around the reaction of the people to the events in the “Man of Steel” movie. A paranoid Caped Crusader will take on Superman in the movie, as he fears his god-like powers.
“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. The movie is slated to be released on March 24th in Australia and on March 25th in the US.
