'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' spoilers: The Caped Crusader has an unlikely ally
The people of earth may unite against the god-like superhero in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Cast member Henry Cavill spoke about an unlikely ally his rival in the movie will have.
[Spoiler alert]
In an interview with Empire magazine, Cavill (Superman) said that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and Batman (Ben Affleck) will be “in cahoots” against his character in the movie, Comic Book Movie reports. "Wе sее thе rеаctiоn оf Lеx Luthеr, аnd thе rеаctiоn оf Bаtmаn. Аnd thе rеаctiоn оf thе whоlе wоrld tо this gоdlikе bеing," Cavill said.
Batman and Lex seem like unlikely allies as Bruce is actually a business rival of Lex. The two seem to come together after seeing the devastation of Metropolis during the battle between Superman and General Zod (Michael Shannon).
The trailer of the movie shows how Bruce was affected both personally and professionally during the Metropolis battle. One of the buildings of Wayne Enterprises was destroyed during the fight and Bruce tried to save the people who were trapped inside the building.
The events in “Man of Steel” will have a ripple effect throughout the society. People will be divided in their support for the alien superhero in “Batman vs. Superman: dawn of Justice.”
Perhaps the most extreme position against Superman is taken by Batman, who will be paranoid about the god-like powers of the superhero. According to a report by Batman-News, producer Charles Roven teased that Batman has evolved over the years from being just a crime fighter.
“He is more than a vigilante. He has become not only the cop, if you will, he has also become the jury and executioner,” Roven said. The Caped Crusader is apparently not giving people a chance and is out serve justice.
“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to be released on March 24 in Australia and on March 25th in the US. It is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year.
