'Batman vs. Superman' and 'Man of Steel 2' Actor Henry Cavill to Michigan People: 'Let's Have a Beer?'
Many fans have been taking pictures with "Batman vs. Superman" star Henry Cavill as he waits for filming to start in Detroit. The "Man of Steel 2" actor has been working out with his trainer, Mark Twight in Michigan to get in perfect shape of his reprised role as Superman in the sequel. The Henry Cavill News Web site has been posting many of these photos online.
According to reports, Henry Cavill News creator, Yvette Caballero has recently talked about her encounters with the actor and she only has kind words to say about him. "He is very nice. I will not mention names but everyone is not like that," she said. "Henry is very approachable even when he is on his own time. People will talk to him and he will have a beer with you. I think that is part of the reason why people are interested in him. If anyone asks for a picture, he will do it. He will take it."
The farm where Clark Kent / Superman's childhood home is reportedly ready and will be used for a lot of scenes in Batman vs. Superman. The movie will feature many of Cavill's previous co-stars such as Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Amy Adams (Lois Lane) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent). New stars will also star in the Superman franchise, including Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred the butler and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
Michael B. Jordan has recently been cast as Johnny Storm in the "Fantastic Four" reboot and rumour has it that he has another superhero role in Batman vs. Superman. Jordan's role is reportedly minimal in the "Man of Steel" sequel but it will reappear in future D.C. Comics movies.
Actors go through major transformations for superhero roles and many are interested how the Batman vs.Superman cast will end up by the time their trainings are over. Gal Gadot, who will star as Wonder Woman, previously posted a photo her showing off her muscles but more recently, she posted another one showing her standing on a ball with a peace sign and camera on the other hand. It was posted on her Facebook page with a caption that reads: "Selfie while standing on a ball. Now tell me this is not original! Good morning!!!" See photo here
