Battle of 5.5-Inch Smartphones: Lenovo K900 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Before, smartphones and tablets were two distinct devices which were separated by their size and functionality. Apps for tablets usually do not run in smartphones until developers made them optimised for it. But with the birth of Samsung Galaxy Note, everything changed.
The hybrid of phone and tablet called phablets made more applications be optimised to the device and certain functionalities before that were exclusive to certain devices became available to phablets such as multimedia editing, live editing, and unique business operations.
Galaxy Note 2 displayed far more improvements from its predecessor and currently is one of the best selling replacement for tablets and mobile phones.
But now, the 5.5-inch phablet is not anymore exclusive to Samsung. Lenovo challenges the mighty Galaxy Note 2 with its IdeaPhone K900.
The Lenovo IdeaPhone K900 is expected to be released on April 2013 sporting 5.5 inches of display size, an Intel Atom processor, PowerVR SGX544 graphics chipset, and 13MP rear camera. Both devices are going to offer optimal performance for users and only task-demanding application will show which one is stronger than the other.
