People Magazine is famous for ranking celebrities for their sex appeal. Now, the popular magazine is handing out awards, too. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Kate Upton, Amber Rose and many more rocked the red carpet at the first-ever People Magazine Awards that happened on Dec. 18 at Beverly Hills, California. The glamorous award show was hosted by Nick Cannon and model Karlie Kloss. The magazine's awards recognised the stars for their work in pop culture.

According to Hollywood Life, No Doubt rockstar Gwen Stefani was one of the first to arrive at the red carpet. Her peculiar top knot, lower knot hairstyle made her stand out from the rest of the celebrities. Latin beauty Jennifer Lopez arrived in a sexy, cleavage revealing nude-colored jumper. The "Booty" singer wore her hair loose. As always, she posed for the cameras, with aplomb. Swimsuit model Kate Upton hit the red carpet wearing a sexy little black dress (lbd). The model looked in great spirits, considering she recently split with her fiancé Matt Bellamy. The "Big Bang Theory" actress Kylie Cuoco-Sweeting too made her appearance at the award show, wearing a stylish black dress and kept her hair up. Tons of other celebs also rocked the red carpet, including Amber Rose, Kate Hudson and Roselyn Sanchez.

Meanwhile, the award for Comedy Star of the Year went to Kevin Hart. The actors who bagged the TV Performance of the Year award were Lisa Kudrow for "The Comeback" and Jon Hamm for "Mad Men." Karlie Kloss took home the Model of the Year trophy while the Next Generation Star trophy was given to Chloe Grace Moretz. There was also an award for Celebrity Role Model of the Year and it went to Kate Hudson while Kate Upton was People's Sexiest Woman Alive. Jimmy Fallon won Talk Show Host of the Year. Jennifer Aniston won Movie Performance of the Year for her performance in "Cake." Michael Keaton took home a trophy for "Birdman."
