‘Beauty and the Beast’ movie release date: Yet another trailer debuts a little over a month before release
With a little over a month left for the Disney fairytale “Beauty and the Beast” reboot to hit the theaters, the studio has just released the final trailer. Viewers are calling it exquisite.
The trailer debuted on US TV Monday night. Fans are digging the duet, allegedly also the title track, which has been sung by the pop princess Ariana Grande and Grammy winner John Legend.
The trailer played for the first time during Monday’s episode of “The Bachelor.” With a runtime of two minutes and 30 seconds, the clip left the audience mesmerised with stunning visuals from the movie, while Belle (Emma Watson) danced in her iconic yellow gown and talked to antiques within the castle.
The trailer, touting the tale “As Old As Time,” proffers viewers with a glimpse of what oddity to be expected from the movie. It’s not just the hairy beast or the angelic Belle the clip takes fans through. Every minute detail, including the lass’ captive father, whose freedom Belle trades trades for her own, the peculiar animated antiques from the enchanted castle, the bloodthirsty wolves in the wild- even the budding romance between the two main characters weren’t left out in the latest “Beauty and the Beast” trailer.
Most important of all is apparently the trailer in the music. According to ET Online, the song was originally sung by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for the 1991 animated film. The song became an instant hit and turned to be a Disney classic before it was picked by the studio for the reboot. That being said, Celine Dion will still be making a return with another track titled “How Does A Moment Last Forever.” As a matter of fact, in the event when Grande and Legend will be taking over her song, the 48-year-old will still have another original track to her credit.
The script for the “Beauty and the Beast” reboot has been written by Stephen Chbosky and Evan Spiliotopoulos, both of them responsible for the screenplay. Bill Condon directed the movie, slated to open March 17 in the US.
With Dan Stevens and the former “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson in the lead, the rest of the cast include Josh Gad, Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Stanley Tucci and Kevin Kline. “Beauty and the Beast” hits theatres in Australia a week later than the US release date. Witness the fantasy on March 23 in Australia.
