The ''Beauty & the Beast" official Season 2, episode 11 spoilers are out as CW revealed the official synopsis of the show. The intense episode will feature Catherine, Tori and Tess in a kidnapping situation as the drama unfolds between Cat and Vincent.

The episode's title "Held Hostage" will feature a group of criminals who are looking for a rare necklace and forces Vincent to rescue the girls as the criminals held them captive.

The episode 11 official press release reads: "Cat,Tori, and Tess will be taken hostage. A group of criminals looking to steal a rare necklace in Tori's (guest star Amber Skye Noyes) possession, will take Catherine, Tori and Tess hostage at the precinct, leaving Vincent as their only hope for help."

Helping the girls could mean Vincent risking his identity to the police but the masked hero will choose to save the girls. Show's regular Nina Lisandrello, Austin Basis and Sendhil Ramamurthy will also show up in the fast action episode.

Based on the previous episode, Cat and Vincent are growing apart as Cat tries to move without him always protecting her. According to Brad Kern, "Beauty & the Beast's" showrunner, season 2 will feature the growing closeness between Cat and Gabe.

"The design of this part of the season is for Cat and Vincent to grow as individuals. They came together so fast for kismet, epic reasons, but that's not a long-term relationship. You have to figure out who you are separately which is painful, but also comedic and adventurous," says Kern.

"It's hard for a woman who's been dealing with a beast who's made some really bad choices not to look over at the perfect guy that every mother would want their daughter to marry and give him a second look," added Kern.

"Held Hostage" is directed by Sudz Sutherland and was written by Pamela Sue Anton. The much anticipated episode will be aired on Monday night, Jan. 27 at 8 P.M. central time on the CW.
