It's a good and exciting news for Fergie and Josh Duhamel as the couple expects their first baby this year.

The 37-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer announced the news via Twitter, along with a Photoshopped photo of them as kids holding a cute little cat.

Fergie posts Photoshopped photo of her as a kid with husband Josh Duhamel as she announced her pregnancy on Twitter.

"Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump," Fergie tweeted, the hashtag clearly inspired by the Black Eyed Peas hit, My Humps.

Duhamel later confirmed the news, tweeting the exact same message in his personal account.

It is definitely time for the superstar duo to welcome a third addition to their family after being married in January 2009. The two have always expressed their desire to start a family, with Duhamel reportedly hoping to have five children as said in his interview with Oprah. Fergie, however, only wants two.

Earlier, rumors of the popstatr being pregnant had spread, as she was photographed wearing baggy clothes, making it look like she was trying to hide a baby bump. The couple was quick to debunk the rumors, saying they were taking their time in having a child.

Meanwhile, Fergie's Black Eyed Peas bandmate, Apl.de.ap, has previously revealed wanting to be a godfather to the couple's first child.

"Fergie's great, and it would be amazing if she and Josh had a baby. I would definitely love to be godfather," he said.

Duhamel currently stars in Safe Haven, another Nicholas Sparks adaptation, where he plays as a single father of two. The role gave him a glimpse of fatherhood, which he can now definitely use in the coming months.
