Best Dressed Celebrities at the 2011 American Music Awards [PHOTOS]

At the recently-concluded American Music Awards, we take a look at some of the most stylish celebrities of the night.

Metallic hue was an obvious trend for the night, with big winner Taylor Swift gleaming in a gold sequined strapless dress from the spring 2012 collection of Reem, while Jennifer Hudson looking slimmer than ever in her silver mini number from Jenny Packham.

Selena Gomez, who cuddled with boyfriend Justin Bieber on the red carpet, also wore a silver gown by Giorgo Armani. Heidi Klum also wore a silver number from Giles Deacon's Spring 2012 collection. Vannessa Lachey kept it simple in a tight white dress adorned with glimmering details, while young TV star, Sarah Hyland kept it modern in a cut-out mini.

Aside from donning pink hair, singer Katy Perry wore an Asian-inspired Vivienne Westwood frock and blue heels to go with it. Jennifer Lopez looked smashing in a laced Zuhair Murad black and nude dress that accentuated her curves on the red carpet.

Modern Family star Julie Bowen star impressed fashion critics with her long-sleeved, striped short dress with bold colors. Singer Mary J. Blige looked elegant in a one-shoulder chiffon animal print dress, while Katherine Heigl showed off her cleavage in a dark-hued billowy dress.
