Best Moments From Victoria's Secret Fashion Show [Images]
One of the coldest nights of the season has some of the hottest supermodels on the ramp to set the stage on fire at the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show held in New York City.
The bevy of supermodels included Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo and Karlie Moss. It was a stunning catwalk and the cherry on top was the unveiling of the Secret Royal Fantasy bra and belt worth $10 million. It was worn by Candice Swanepoel, the South African supermodel. The top-class crowd was entertained by Fall Out Boy and Taylor Swift. Parade documented its list of some of the greatest moments of the show.
The show was divided in six segments called 'Snow Angels', 'Shipwrecked', 'Parisian Nights', 'PINK Network', 'Birds of Paradise' and 'British Invasion.' Cara Delevingne, Malaika Firth, Lily Donaldson and Jourdan Dunn represented Britain.
It was none other than Taylor Swift who opened the show as the belle of the ball. She wore two distinctly different outfits in the show. One of them was a sparkling mini dress and the other was one British number. She also teamed up with Fall Out Boy to perform the opening number.
Adam Levine behaved exactly like the perfect fiancée as he sat in front to cheer Behati Prinsloo every time she walked past him. It was definitely one of the most romantic moments at the show.
This was the 13th year for veteran Adriana Lima to flaunt Victoria's Secret. It was a dramatic opening of the Parisian Nights by Lima who sported large wings made of red feathers.
This year's models wore 3D angel wings, which were manufactured by Shapeways, Swarovski and Victoria's Secret. Architect Bradley Rothenberg designed the delicate 3D wings, which Lindsay Ellingson wore. Those were designed appropriately to fit her shape. Swarovski crystals were used to decorate the wings after printing.
Candice Swanepoel wore the much hyped Fantasy Bra worth $10 million. The bra and the belt were hand-crafted in 18-karat gold. It featured a 52-carat ruby which had the shape of a pear.
